Learn Italian with Annalisa

Ciao!
Sono Annalisa

Your new Italian friend

My Story

I was born on February 5, 1987 in the Province of Varese, in the area called “the lakes”, in the northwest of northern Italy.

In fact, in this part of Italy there are many lakes but the best known is certainly Lake Maggiore, famous for its islands with baroque Italian-style style gardens.

My dad, Ferdinando, and my mom, Mariagrazia, are particularly fond of this area: they are both great sportsmen and love to travel the gentle hills surrounding the lakes on foot or by bicycle. I am their only child.

After high school in the city of Varese, I moved to Milan to attend university and graduated with full marks in Cultural Anthropology.

I then spent a few months in Ireland, on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, where there are the famous cliffs. Back in Italy, I worked in three elementary schools for the Italian Civil Service: my job was to help foreign children integrate better by teaching them to speak and write in Italian.

I later had the opportunity to work in a museum dedicated to fashion in Milan (Armani / Silos) and for two years I moved to this city again. In the meantime, I wanted to continue my education at the University and I graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in art criticism.

Today, I have been living in Paris for some years, where I teach Italian language and culture in prestigious schools:

The love for the Italian language and culture that I discovered while teaching foreigners and abroad has allowed me to appreciate my country even more and encouraged me to want to know in depth its history, its art, its cuisine and its infinite cultural wealth.

Today, for me, there is no greater joy than being able to share my experience and the things I have learned. With this in mind, Learn Italian With Annalisa was born.
